Mission and purpose

Practical career exploration for teenagers

We help teenagers in Ukraine explore careers and make informed choices through practical resources, conversations with professionals and encounters with real work.

Vision

Teenagers can see several possible paths, understand everyday tasks and challenges, and explore their interests without pressure to choose a career once and for all.

Purpose

Give teenagers practical ways to explore work: ask a professional, compare working conditions, try a small task and discuss what they learn with supportive adults.

Working with teenagers

RealSkills’ first two-day event

At the two-day Kyiv event in 2026, around 80 teenagers met five professionals. The next day, four teams of students in grades eight to ten invented career worlds and explained why each imagined job was needed. An eighth-grade team won with a fantasy world whose city floated in the air. A school principal and lecturers from KPI and the Kyiv School of Economics judged the work.
