Three different kinds of content
Activity reports draw on our own events, recordings and photographs. Career profiles are editorial introductions to work. Research reviews synthesise published sources. A review of existing research is not an original survey or experiment conducted by RealSkills.
Our recordings and images
The metro reports use stills from two RealSkills recordings. Captions identify the encounter and scene. Working edits are not published as finished episodes. Stock career illustrations are distinguished from images of our activities: appearing in an illustration does not make someone a representative or partner of the organisation.
Sources and limits
Career profiles include links for further verification. Research reviews list the publications used and explain their relevance. We prioritise official requirements, educational institutions, primary research and specialist organisations. Admissions, vacancies, pay and employer requirements change; check current details with the institution concerned.
Checks during preparation
We compare descriptions with their source, check image provenance and captions, and distinguish completed activities from ideas. We do not invent quotations, participants, partnerships or results. Automated transcripts can contain errors, so unclear names and figures are not treated as verified facts. A cited organisation has not automatically reviewed or endorsed our material.
Practical exploration
Short exercises help readers notice their interests and ask further questions. They are not diagnostic tests, occupational selection or training to operate equipment. We choose activities that need no specialist equipment and can be paused when necessary.
Responsibility and corrections
This website’s materials are published by NGO Real Skills. Contact team@realskills.team for editorial questions and dm@realskills.team for administration. To report an error, send the page address, the relevant passage and, if possible, a source to check. An editorial update date records a change to the page; it does not establish a new independent review of every external source.
